About Rapid Performance
The Rapid Temp system was first developed in 2023 as a father-and-son project between Dave and Josh. The year prior, our local racing series transitioned to E85 fuel, and the switch created significant challenges with building and maintaining optimal temperature in the cooling system. After repeatedly experimenting with fan blades, radiator tape, and other temporary fixes, we knew a permanent solution was needed.
As racers with machining, mechanical, and engineering backgrounds, we began developing a system that would change the flow characteristics of the cooling circuit to build heat quickly, maintain optimal temperature in all conditions and prevent air-locking.
Over the next two years, we rigorously tested, refined, and validated the system in real-world racing conditions to ensure consistent performance across multiple divisions, fuel types and environments.
By late January 2025, after extensive real-world validation, we were confident the Rapid temp system had earned its place in the racing market and was ready to be sold.
